The Presentation

My first thought when we got the brief was to stick to something i know as i don't want to be researching something new with only 3 weeks to do it. I like a lot of the Factory covers especially the Saville ones but the one i have chosen isn't actually one of his. It's the record sleeve for 'the return' by Durutti Column which as you can see from the picture is a sleeve created out of sandpaper. The idea is that it personifies punk and damages everything it comes into contact with. Their music of course is the exact opposite to this being avant-garde and relaxed, not punk.
